I know man.  I have a few.

they have built deliberately a speculator's wonderland. 

they stopped building regular rental housing in the city and created rental housing by condo building.  it is an investors heaven..from construction, to manufacture of construction materials and parts, appliances and all manner of related fabrications. it is like Brave New World..people ensconced in small apartments single and separated from each other..no community organic connections...and money like peas for those who conceived the nightmare

the money is no centralized also..concentrated in a few hands.  and when that happens hey can conceive of these massive projects which in truth are very centralized and homogeneous, calculated to make us all the same over time.  but they depend on capitalist success to keep going.  however the contradictions of capitalism are fully ripe and will work out in ways that will see it all crash.  so we will either get a police state at least for a time..we have the police state already..and soon or late total social collapse.

get a house on the ground.  that's the best bet. 

you will have to get those condos for literally nutten for them to be ultimately worthwhile ketchim
