But is goes back to the point I made earlier.
Either these young people will use the internet as a tool to embrace reason, logic, and rational thought and cast aside the ignorance, superstition, and myths of religion, or they will use it further radicalize themselves and bring us all closer to the realization and manifestation of that self fullfilling prophesy of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity: the anniliation of the human race or "end of the world".
Don't you want to former to be the victors?

It is not a line in the sand. It is the inevitable consequence of a fork in the road scenario. I've provided ample evidence that even in Muslim countries like Egypt, which are deeply rooted in Sharia law, that atheism is on the rise thanks to modern social media and the internet and more and more atheist are coming out and will be a political force in the not too distant future notwithstanding the persecution they face as apostates. In America, the numbers are even more startling of atheism's rise.
Your point is young men in the west are using the internet to follow Islamic jihad. But those numbers are miniscule. The media in the west love to run these stories of young western men going off to fight with the enemy as it makes for great headlines, fosters fear, and reinforces the "good guys bad guys" imagery for people who let the media do all the thinking for them.
