They are against the Ugandan president because he opposes the Homo lifestyle . The homosexuality agenda is being pushed by the media and Hollywood to destroy Christianity , Islam and all the eastern religions as this lifestyle violates their teachings on morality . The question must then be asked Who controls the media and Hollywood and you will find out that it is the chosen people .
If you oppose the the lifestyle , it is made to appear that there is something wrong with you instead of those with the deviant lifestyle.
They own and control Obama and it is through his administration that Homosexual marriage etc is legalized . Any world leader that opposed them is in for trouble but they are trying this with Putin and Orbut of Hungary and will fail

Look man...
Let's look at it this way...
You feel that it's appropriate for blacks to burn black gays in the street, and some whites feel it appropriate to kill blacks minding their own business in cold blood. Cool?
But I'm ever so glad that my black azz is in America because at least over here I have better rights, protection, and living conditions than I would in Africa.

All your desires, beliefs, behaviour etc come from outside you. They are the product of an unbroken causal chain. Something "alien" to you always governs what you do.
Musenveni is Obama's buddy. Obama sent him hundreds of troops a few years back, all to protect oil refinerys and crush the "rebels" attempting to kick out Musenveni. Musenveni still receives about $500 million in financial and military aid annually thanks to US taxpayers. And, ironically, the more crazy he gets, the happier we are. Gives us a pretext to send in more troops and perhaps even remove him outright.
Remember when the Taliban were our buddies in the 1990s until they cut our oil deals? Then suddenly we because "concerned about how they treat women"? It's the same with Musenveni. We don't care about his behaviour, as long as he represents "our interests". Indeed, we will defend him from locals who attmpt to oust him. If he stops representing our interests, then we will accuse of him savagery, crimes or legalizing homophobia, and step in.
Sixty or so years ago, gays faced similar arson attacks in the US. Today, Uganda's homophobia is largely a result of Christian missionaries. You expect Ugandans to magically "exert their will" and "stop hating gays"? Layers and layers of social conditioning and outright brainwashing are governing how they act. It will take decades for this to be undone. If an informed person like ramesh is so homophobic, imagine how alien the concept of "equality for gays" is to a Ugandan.
No. I am saying people with power can take control of nations, governments and institutions, which have a knock-on effect on the lives and thinking of human beings. Look at the DARK AGES for example. Millions of people turned into dumbasses because of a handful of people in power executing those who tried to help.
I agree with your general point: Africans need to organise and adopt what I would call liberal values (love, community, equality, respect, virtue etc). But there are big forces working against you, and it's a slow process. We're still struggling for that stuff in the West and we've been "free" for centuries.

I presented evidence that Africa is running their country the way they want.
Now where's your evidence that they're not?
I'm sorry...
But the bottom line: Idolatry and violence is what's keeping Africa down.

Africa is not a country.
Nor did you present "evidence". You presented a quote by Musenveni which is contradicted by facts. Musenveni is reliant upon the US to maintain power.
Or are you implying that "Uganda is running itself as a homophobic nation because that is personally what Ugandans want"? Uganda's homophobia stemmed from Western, Christian missionaries. Specifically from an anti-gay religious group called the International House of Prayer, based in Kanas US. The church, along with similar groups, pushed for Ugandan ministers to introducing the death penalty for homosexuality.

Outside political/religious influences combined with local superstition and primitive civil rights codes, are what are responsible for Uganda's homophobia.
That's a very superficial "bottom line".

And why?
Because he's too f****** busy mongering for idolatry.
He can't live without his ass being kissed. So the world has to take care of them while they're busy oppressing themselves for idolatry.
Like I said.

Stop what? Are you denying that homophobic laws in Africa are part of a deliberate policy pushed by Western based Christian groups?
Perhaps you are wondering why Africans don't resist Christianity?
Well, why didn't whites?
Because Christianity has long proven to be adept at brainwashing millions. In the 1700s it convinced whites that black were inferior. Now it convinces blacks that gays are inferior.
What's your point? That blacks should resist the homophobic attitudes that they have been indoctrinated to hold?
Of course they should.
But how long did it take whites to resist the anti-black atitudes that they wre indoctrinated to hold?
What's amazing about you is not that you expect human beings to magically behave "morally", but that you aggressively deny the complex factors which prevent them from doing so.

I've made it numerous times.
You're in denial.
If a black man cuts your f****** head off, you'll find a way to blame it on the white man.
Well,
Black men once ruled the world and they had to be removed from power because they couldn't live without their ass being kissed everyday of their lives. Yakub came along and put an end to the old black world.

Museveni is not an "idol". He is increasingly despised by Ugandans. The West backs Museveni because he gives them oil, minerals and buys guns.
The world is not "taking care of them". It is aggressively exploiting them. By your bizzare definition, the world "took care of Iraq" when it put Saddam in power or "took care of Chile" when it put Pinochet in power. None of these countries or rulers get money unless they give back ten-fold in return.
