Seems like ketchie and Snoopy got themselves into a twist, and neither can get loose of an untenable argument...therefore they keep repeating the same verbage, hoping to create a kink, advance an inch, reclaim some validation lost on trading spurious and damning allegations
There is no need to argue with a man's beliefs. If fact it is irrational to argue with a man on his beliefs, yet Snoopy persists. What gies bro.
If you don't beleive, then beleive that others beleive. To each his own.

That should read believe...atheists are good people and so are religionists. We should learn to respect each other's preference. Who am I to dictate what others think...and for sure I won't be able to change anyone's mindset trading insults on religion and religiosity.

That "man's beliefs" is working very hard through violence, threats of violence, and intimidation to suppress the free expression of ideas, words, and thoughts in secular societies.
You all in America ought to be thoroughly ashamed for capitulating to them in the most cowardly manner for eroding the very institutions which the nation purportedly stands for.
I repeat: you have opened the gates for the Barbarians to storm the city. Enjoy your new caliphate.

Snoopy...these fears have existed since the advent of time. Everything you see is based upon our insecurities manifesting itself into action. I agree that religious violence, or violence in the name of religion is misplaced, and that above belief, there must be a unrelenting respect for human life, and liberty.
The violent people are hurting others in the short-term, but hurting themselves in the long term. Only a reality check will stop that. They will not listen to any other authority.
Ketchie is the least of the problem.

I'm glad you wrote that. Because that is the very essence of Islamic Fascism. It wants to dictate through extreme and grotesque violence what and how you should think.
Islam, like all other religions which seeks to seep into political and educational institutions, must and ought to be examined. We must have debate, dialogue and open discussion.
But these murderers belonging to fascists Islam are wholly averse to such discourse. They believe that their religion is a special case. It, and it alone, must be exempt from examination and even ridicule. It, and it alone, is capable of being offended. It, and it alone, can issue death warrants for writers and cartoonists. What non-sense!

Again, why would an all powerful, all knowing God, reveal anything to humans knowing that they are incapable of interpreting the revelation the way he/she/it intends it?
You see the stupidity of the idea of divine revelation?

Snoopy it is important that you make a clear distinction between the violent perpetrators and the religion. All religious people are not bad. And all bad people are not religious.
Religion is good. From religion we learnt all the sciences we know today. I understand that early pursuit of education was initiated via religon. There is where we were taught our morals and that is where our values were inculcated. We must not, and cannot allow, the demented, the misguided, and the crazies to triumph over our judgment of all religionists.
