We may yet still get there Maps.

We may still get to a future point in time when the human mind (and ergo society) is completely and utterly emancipated from this babyish idea that there is a celestial dictator in the sky who watches over us 24/7; who cares about pathetic daily lives; what we eat; who we sleep with and in what position and so on.

The ideas of the Enlightenment has done a great deal to help us get there.  So too has science and technology.  There is only one thing holding us back.
