what Whitney is doing is taking one aspect of the situatuion and making too big a deal of it..which blinds us to the core of the issue.

the capitalists are aware of the entirety of the situation of all they do and the results.  that is why it is happening.  they have planned it that way for the results they are receiving:  even more profits and social control.  the capitalist know that the results will be total economic failure..an outcome they have produced before and are producing again.  they do have a plan for when collapse occurs..just watch

an outcome that Whitney does not factor in is that a huge quantity of QE flowed into to world to buy up land, local and regional corporations, local business and assets.. WITH WORTHLESS US DOLLARS PROPPED UP BY AMERICAN MIGHT AND OIL THAT IS NOW A FEW DOLLARS A BARREL BUT WASNT WHEN QE WAS AT ITS HEIGHT.

when this finally collapse as it has right this minute..american capitalists will end up with HUGE GLOBAL ASSETS WHILE LOCALS HOLD TONS AND TONS OF USELESS USA DOLLARS.

that is what was happening in a big way and it worked unless the local governments knew what was afoot and took precautions to protect local assets

in that way QE was just another scam to bleed the rest of the world

Wow, those are quite a lot of numbers. The other day, I just read that Walmart is also closing down stores to focus on their big stores. Well, that's what they say, but the reality is that retail stores have a lot of competition with online stores now. I do hope that physical stores can compete with online stores because they have a lot of employees that are about to be out of work. It's a sad reality but that's how the world is changing and we have to adapt to it.

Whitney talks as if all of this is something new and unique in the world.  it is not.  the bankers have always been doing things like this.  they have had a lot of practice and are very sophisticated in orchestrating this so-called global crisis.

orchestrating is the decisive word here.  all that is happening is planned and executed for the exact results we see..a manipulated financial crisis to enhance banker globalist social control.

the real crisis in human affairs at the moment is the final resolution of the terminal battle between working people/ordinary people... and those who own the means of society, and most of the social wealth of humanity.

human technological advance is now so great tat it has brought to a point of qualitative social change that cannot be avoided any longer.  what to do with technology that so revolutionizes human work that it makes most who work redundant in a capitalist sense. 

THERE IS NOT MUCH MORE EMPLOYMENT FOR HUMANITY IN CAPITALIST ENTERPRISES FOR WAGES BY WHICH TO LIVE.  AUTOMATION, ROBOTS ETC ON AN INCREASING SCALE CAN DO CAPITALIST WORK.  NOR MORE NEED FOR PEOPLE, WORKING CLASS PEOPLE

AND AS IS GENERALLY THE CASE IN CAPITALISM WHEN SOMETHING IS NO LONGER REQUIRED IT IS TOSSED ON THE GARBAGE HEAP, GROUND UP AND OR RECYCLED..BURIED AND OUT OF THE WAY.  THAT IS THE CASE OF THE WORKING CLASS AS IT STANDS IN SOCIETY RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT.

for the capitalist the question/problem is what to do with the 'surplus' people.  it is an overwhelming and urgent problem for them.  the obverse is just as urgent and overwhelming for us:  our existence is at stake.

the working class ordinary people have one option:  to take over society.  it is that or be dealt with by the capitalist. and we know what his solutions are..or have been... over several hundred years: enslavement and genocide.  that is what looms for the people of the world..the most horrendous resolution of the capitalism system, as it morphs into Brave New World

that's a suicidal perspective.  there can be no adjustment or adaptation to such change.  you have to eat.  how the hell are you going to accomplish that without work?

there are no plans up in 'official society' for your existence past any relative future point!!! 

what the hell are you going to adapt/adjust to: unless by adaptation you mean your readiness and willingness to take over society and run it in the general interest..in which there are human/humane solutions..as opposed to capitalist domination in which there are no solutions relative to our ordinary interest ::confused::

you cannot adapt and adjust to a system that has rendered you useless, killed your job and all employment possibilities..killed everything in your interest, leaving social room only for those who have captured all the wealth ::confused::

what will you do:  go to the forest and forage for wild food:  use forest land to plant food and survive: live off the streets of cities, sleep on pavement, in nooks and crannies, on warm grates in the winter depending on the wealthy to feed you::confused::

in case you have not noticed: ALL THAT HAS BEEN CRIMINALIZED WITH HEAVY PENALTIES, EVERYWHERE, IN ALL CITIES AND TOWNS...  THAT POLICE FORCES ENFORCE WITH GREAT BRUTALITY ON THOSE WHO TRY TO FEED  AND SUCCOR THE HOMELESS:o

YOU CANNOT HIDE MAN.  THEY WILL PINPOINT YOU IN THE THE FOREST ANYWHERE ON THE GLOBE, FROM UP IN ORBIT AND SEND DRONES TO BLOW YOU TO BITS... WHETHER YOU ARE PEACEFUL IN THE FOREST, OR A TERRORIST THREAT IN HIDING.

THE ELITES CONSIDER BOTH TO BE THE SAME..THE POOR AND HOMELESS AND THE TERRORIST. ONE CAN BECOME THE OTHER..THE FIRST INTO THE LATTER FOR THEY HAVE EVERY REASON TO.  SO WHY WAIT ::confused::

that is the human crisis..a point of qualitative social change in the struggle between those who own and the rest of us. 
it is the final resolution of that struggle... that began when the capitalist emerged into social control and created the working class of people. that struggle is now being resolved and it can work out in one of 2 ways:  either the people take over and end capitalism forever..or capitalism wins and establishes Brave New world at the expense of the people

Seems you've thought a lot about this! Glad to see someone with a VERY specific plan of attack for fixing the situation. You must be in politics. If not, why not? Regardless, I do forsee another collapse in our near future. Not that I'm a psychic, but rather that I'm expecting it will happen soon rather than it not happening.

Is America shutting down? No, I don't think so. The complaint from many of these stores which are downsizing is that they are unable to compete with online shopping giants like Amazon.
Don't believe these Corporations which have been around for many years and have survived through many challenging periods, will easily go out of business without a fight. As they have done before, they will go back to the drawing board and rebound to again hold their pride of place; they have done it before and will do it again.
People will be losing jobs through the downsizing of these companies, however, there are numerous Jobs opening up via the work from home or telecommuting opportunities. Businesses  are gravitating to online service which require less staff and is able to garner wider customer base.
It's evident that the there is being a renaissance in the way business is being conducted in America economy. I believe the adaption and adjust will happen rapidly and it will be business as usual once more.

This is a hot mess and I just hope people nowadays can figure out how to garden incase stuff hits the fan and most people are left jobless in a new depression with nothing to eat.
