Boult to Stokes, and another! Boult fully deserves this. Been a wonderful spell.
Forces Stokes to play at a short of a length delivery and Craig grabs a sharp chance above his head at second slip
Stokes c Craig b Boult 6

Game has turned on its hinges over the last hour. New Zealand right back in this and may even think they can bowl England out and still have a lead.

Between the last hour of last night's play and the first hour of this morning's play, New Zealand have taken control of this match. It really is amazing the difference a new ball and favourable conditions can make.

Enterprising 46 from Broad. England all out for 350 - matching New Zealand's first innings score. The run out of Lyth really started a collapse. This Test is reminding me of the last match here at Headingley against Sri Lanka. England were 273/2 at one stage in their first innings and were all out for 365. Hopefully this Test match ends better than that one.
...
New ball doing nothing for England. No hint of swing whatsoever. That doesn't bode well.

England has been surprisingly good this series especially after their flop against the West Indies. This just further proves that England is a good team when they play at home in English conditions.

England playing well at home should be of no surprise to anyone. In the last 5 years, no team has won more Test matches at home than England. Over this time period, England have won 20 Test matches and lost just 5. You also need to take into consideration New Zealand's poor form away from home - especially in England where they have only ever won 4 times in 54 matches.

Broad gets Latham - faint inside edge. Broad's return to form has been great to see. Ottis making the difference?

15/1.
