Despite having 17 hundreds, Martin Crowe "only" managed 35 scores of 50+ tied with Nathan Astle and John Wright. For comparison, Stephen Fleming leads the way for New Zealand with 55. McCullum is second with 40, Ross Taylor has 36. It's also worth noting that Vettori had 29 scores of 50+ in his career.
Crowe converted almost fifty percent of his 50's into a century.

NZ should never be offered only two Tests again in England - almost an insult with the wonderful approach they have brought to this series.

Excellent ton by Watling. Justified his selection in the team even though he couldn't keep wicket.

100 to BJ Watling : superb knock !
73.1
Anderson to Watling, 1 run, pulls it down to long leg and that's the hundred! Super innings from Watling,
been the low-key member of this side that has been essential to New Zealand's success recently
and here he has delivered again with a 136-ball century
