As a Legspinner, Devindra has been maligned with :

1.He cant bowl the Googley
2.He dont have the quicker one
3.He dont know what a slider is.
4.He dont have a flipper

Strange selection criteria

What do they see that we cannot ? 

He cant Bat  :-[

Guyana dont even select da Man !

don't forge the best one...he lucky!

Bishoo can bat. Australia couldn't get him out last time they toured here.

He often bats at 6 for Guyana.

Narine, Badree, Permaul and Bishoo should always be selected over Benn. The only other spinner who should be selected is Warrican, but he should be selected just to up his batting average. We need him to get up to a 100 average, then retire him, so we can claim a batsman better than Bradman.

think that was the Brad Haddin Ball of the Century ! 

                 

Bishoo would not be in the team to bat but the fact is he can bat and a formidable fieldsman as he has demonstrated.

Bishoo has been grossly mismanaged and therefore over bowled. Further he has not been given the time and support to grow as a bowler at the international level.

Besides, Bishoo has the attitude it takes and I genuinely think the selectors has denied the cricketing world of a potential match winner.

Also Bishoo could grow in his batting and I have never seen him really gift his wicket.

I do not think the selectors are seeing what the majority of observes see and perhaps we are wrong.

However what I am convinced of is Benn is not worthy so to that end I think the selectors have got it so wrong but at least they have been consistent as they have selected a bits and pieces squad for the tri series.

It is quite a shame about Beaton not progressing but he did look a good prospect.

Bishoo has genuine potential don't you think?
