SL need a wicket before tea! Wonder whether the weather will permit it as he rain seem to be appearing by way of a thin drizzle.

I like Herath, a proper spinner. Doesn't fire it in but relies on turn, flight and outwitting the batter. Good to see.

Good review from Bairstow. In real time, it looked like it was sliding down the leg side. Hawkeye showed it was missing the stumps by some margin.

England being pulled out of a deep hole by Hales and Bairstow against a sharp Lanka side. BTW when was the last time Root was out for duck?

Busy last two minutes. Jonny crunches Herath for a six and then Herath calls for a review two balls later after his initial appeals for lbw were turned down. Replays showed again the ball missing the stumps.  Bit of a surprise they reviewed that. No one seemed that excited and it took an age for Mathews to call for a review.

SL tired. England will probably make 250 plus.
