According to Big Cat, he does not believe Barkley is a credible source, therefore the information he stated is not true? I beg to differ. What would make him a credible source? If he worked for the government or education system? Even those people would say the same thing. What makes Barkley a credible source is the fact that he is a member of society. He faces these issues on a daily basis. It is sad and some may even call it racist, but his words are true. Many black people feel negatively towards society as a whole because of suppressed issues that have carried over from generation to generation; ultimately leaving them to face the world scarred. Initially it may not be fault of their own that they perceive things the way they do. They have been conditioned to be defensive. This is wrong. I understand the plights of black people, but at some point people must take responsibility for their own lives. Rise up and strive for more. We all have the potential to be successful, just like we all have the potential to be a statistic. It is our own choice.
