They are all fakes Krish. All of them!
These criminals shamelessly prey on mostly poor uneducated people. And this is why religion represents the infancy and childhood of our species. It triumphs faith over reason and allows these hucksters to trick and defraud innocent people. The moment these "miracles" and miracle workers are examined the whole thing is exposed for the fraud it is.

Benny Hinn is a modern day giant among religious hucksters and charlatans. However, for every Benny Hinn in America there are 1000 in India in the form of gurus, yogis, pundits, healers, and god-men.
For me, these people are the absolute scum of the earth.

The exposing of Peter Popoff as a huckster remains one of my favourite to this day. ::LOL::

Self proclaimed god-man Sai Baba is probably my favourite huckster and charlatan of recent times. Here was a man who made the claim that he was the incarnation of a celestial deity. As such, he possessed all the attributes of divinity. He could, at his behest, conjure up any 'miracle'. He therefore could feed the hungry, clothe the poor, heal the sick etc.
But alas! Sai Baba was only a man. He lived and he died. While he was alive he perfected the con of religion. He learned magic, and magic tricks, and used that knowledge and ability to defraud and mislead gullible but yet innocent people. His self proclaimed divinity and magic tricks attracted thousands upon thousands of followers/devotees and he amassed a vast wealth. He also enjoyed political patronage and was a favourite puppet for the government. He received a state funeral.
I'm proud of the efforts of the few Indians like Sanal Edamaruku who had the courage to expose that man for the snake oil salesman he was, and others of his ilk.
