once a holy man used to go to the banks of the river early in the morning (before the sun rises) and meditate.  One morning when he opened his eyes he say another man on the other bank of the river.

No.  The terrorist who decapitate their captives, burn their captives alive, blow up mosques and funeral processions, and fly planes into office buildings don't say things like "God is Great" or quote selected parts of their religious books before committing their crimes.

This is the type of thinking that is myopic, and dangerous to a free world. Such lame generalizations...what about hen religionists say "God is Great" and do good things?

Like what?  Charity?  There are as many non-religious charities who do more and better work then religious ones - without the hideous condition of conversion to the flock.

Have you ever quantified the work religious organizations do? And then compare? Let me know when you are done...I will be impressed by your fact finding...
