Sick? She isn't sick....she is the epitome of evil. She sold herself and destroyed her family for cheap tricks and sex. Depravity doesn't begin to capture this woman's nature. I hope that she gets plenty of what she deserves.

"Ranuka Anandjet of the GRPA held that the system had failed the teenager, and it is pertinent now more than ever that justice is served and awareness is heightened to prevent such outcomes in similar cases.
“This was her mother and a man who is supposed to be a guardian. Everybody failed her… But we are trying to bring about awareness so that others would get better access to care, protection, justice and services they need.â€
I agree with this...
This incident was preventable. The authorities had a chance to protect the girl and didn't. So the life sentence on the perps isn't justice to the girl in my opinion. It doesn't account for the fact that the authorities could have saved her but didn't.
Justice can really only be served if the authorities will take better care to protect children in dangerous familial situations. What the hell are they there for if they're not going to step in and save a child from incompetent parents?
A bitch putting a man before her children is common worldwide.

Yes...lets blame the authorities for the mother's recklessness...she supposedly killed her husband for mr. small....then when mr. small raped the child, she had the charges dropped because she wanted mr. small to make her feel like a woman. Great Mother, Bad system.

Excuse me,
But what I gather from the story, the girl made a report to the police, and no investigation into the claim was made. And the mother along with the girl later returned to recant the report. That should have raised red flags.

The girl would not have been raped if the mother wasn't involved with mr. small. There would have been no need for any of this. But again....the system is at fault. Lets not take any responsibility for our action.

I'm not arguing against that point.
I'm only saying that I agree with the statement in the article that says that the system failed the girl.
That's true because they did.
They had a chance to step in and protect her and they didn't.

Small is a murderous leech. The mother is a monster of the highest order. They don't deserve to live among human beings.
That said, I am in full agreement that the system failed Neesa, Unfortunately, the police in Guyana doesn't seem to have any system in place to take care of anyone, and the men there still have the mindset that domestic problems are not their concern.
Poor girl ... may she rest in eternal peace.

The system cannot act if the mother compromises the daughter's safety. The mother was with her when she withdrew the charges. Perhaps they need to re-visit the way things are done.
