and street checks, has come under fire for trying to regulate a practice :
that critics believe is unconstitutional and must end.

We have heard from the community that street checks, by definition, are arbitrary as well as discriminatory
and therefore cannot be regulated; they must simply be ended.
The province agrees that these types of stops must end.â€

it will take more than Jewish banker money in Canada for politicians at the provincial level at least to say no in the face of that kind of opposition.
he cud not maintain the status quo. anyway it was taken out of his hands by the Ontario legislature
