that her party is too friendly to Muslims.

Speaking at a rally in Rakhine State she said those making the allegations "

were guilty of stirring up racial and religious tensions.

A group of activist monks are set to play a pivotal role in Myanmar's first properly contested election in 25 years.

The monks of the Ma Ba Tha say they are protecting the Buddhist religion and have attracted large crowds.
