It went very well. had a great night. will be coming back to Toronto soon for a screening and getting another one lined up in Ottawa.

yes i think so. it was a great time and it felt great to get so much support from the Jamaican community in the area. i do not know if any of  the haters/astute critics on this form were in the crowd but I would love to see them put their money where their mouth is and put me in my place at the Q&A like they claim they would but they will get another chance.

I could not attend.  I do not live in TO and the logistics of this past Saturday night made it impossible anyway.

tell you what Dave6..in ending all my comments on and in the issue of you and your doc/film making, I give you right and everything else. 

you are perfect and wonderful and your doc is the best from what I have seen.  a powerful statement on an important, definitive part of west indian history, from which all can draw lessons.

and from this you  will develop a great career doing more of the same establishing west indian history in film as it ought to be seen..from the point of view of small but definitive minorities who by the struggle and success have made the west indies what it is today.

I accept that I have been wrong, all my comments bad tempered, bad-minded,  ill-advised and racist and that you were right in the totality from the start.

I cede to you all dues, right and win and have no more to say in the matter..even if you do!

well you get another chance Mapoui I plan to be back this summer.  and I will be hitting up Ottawa as well
