I am arguing that society must change basically from its current class based social exploitation to one of democracy...and that such change would produce asocial  reality in which teens would not get pregnant at all.

absolutely true! it is we christians who have come to criminalise sexuality and pregnancy and make a punishment for what are natural and celebratory facts of life.


and please remember:  that when the democracy I keep harping about becomes real and development spreads to all of the human species...the real human problem begins:

we harp on teen pregnancies... but currently in the developed world teen pregnancies is one of 2 -3  sources of burgeoning reproduction.  teen pregnancies from that angle is not altogether an unmitigated disaster  as that girls fathers reaction indicated.


he should have welcomed the child and taken care of his daughter.

A girl's body is so made that she can become pregnant at 12.  Therefore someone becoming pregnant at that age should come as no surprise to anyone.  Is having sex at that age acceptable?  Ask the many parents who supply their daughters with contraceptives the minute they attain puberty.  So, it's ok for them to have sex but not to bear children.  Where's the wrongdoing?  Having sex or bearing a child out of the act? If one can acknowledge that one's child is having sex, then one must be prepared for the consequences.


Society practises such double standards.

exactly!  and at all levels now they are increasingly dangerous, costing lives, at times even millions of live.  ask Iraq, Yemen,Somali etc.  massive double standards there too.


its way past time to bun dong the status quo, the established way,  and start a-fresh.  double standard society is now  way too expensive
