Bill Cosby
“I'm 83 and I'm Tired"
I'm 83. Except for brief period in the 50's when I was doing my National Service, I've worked hard since I was 17. Except for some serious health challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't call in sick in nearly 40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as though retirement was a bad idea, and I'm tired. Very tired!
I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.
I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Sharia law tells them to.
I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia, New Zealand UK, America and Canada, while no one from these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and tolerance.
I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate.
I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?
I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.
I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and early 20's be-deck themselves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making themselves un-employable and claiming money from the Government.
Yes, I'm tired. But I'm also glad to be 83... Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter and their children. Thank God I'm on the way out and not on the way in; there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
This is your chance to make a difference.
"I'm 83 and I'm tired. If you don't forward this you are part of the problem."

I hear you and I respect your message. However, I think we are all tired, in our own right. I am 36 and although I am still in my prime physically, my spirit has endured so much on this planet. You have lived a full life, from what I read. You must be proud. And to see the birth of a grandchild? Blessed. Sometimes I wonder if a full life of struggle is better than a short lived life of less suffering. I, too, am tired. The sad thing is, no matter how much we protest our governments, feed the hungry or pray for one another, the world will continue to crumble. We must do what is best for our home, our family and ourselves. Selfish it sounds, but that is how I see it. Always have compassion and love for life and all that lies within it, but be realistic enough to know, there really is nothing we can do.

I loved the Cosby Show. Here was show about a Black doctor married to a Black lawyer and raising their kids to be cultured, educated, and respectful individuals. Same with Fresh Prince.
Then came "Martin". ::LOL::

I don't feel tired of what other people do.
It's their life not mine.
I just try to get messages out to people. Messages they don't want to hear, but I send out my messages anyway because there's always a few who receive them.

So to summarise:
1. If I work hard you should work hard too
2. If I can be successful, you can be successful too
3. Paying tax is bad
4. Governments spend tax money on lazy people
5. Muslims are bad
6. Global warming is a myth
7. Drug addicts are stupid and addiction is their fault
8. Rugged individualism and free will beats circumstance always
9. People with tattoos and rings are stupid because this makes them unemployable
In other words, Cosby's a right-wing moron. I'm not surprised he'd write a letter like this, though, when all the charges of drugging and raping women are coming back to haunt him.

I am tired of hearing Bill Cosby pontificating on morality when he refuses to acknowledge that Autom Jackson is his daughter , He refuses to take a DNA test although he admitted to an affair with her mother

So he's playing the age card now is he???
Well it's an open secret in Hollywood that he has assaulted and raped(allegedly) women throughout his career, which is why the comedian Hannibal Buress just went off on him during one of his routines, look it up. Hannibal of course has now pretty much destroyed his opportunities to appear on at least anything NBC, coz The Cos is friends with all the higher ups there, so I applaud Hannibal's almost career kiboshing move.
I would rather a 1000 young Black men walk around with their pants around their ankles(which is one of Bill's pet peeves), than to have 1 of those men rape a woman.Which of these two scenarios do think is going to have the most damaging affect??
Bill please make sure that you are a paragon of virtue and the highest morality before you start putting your people on blast. You are not, so everything you say looks like turds falling from your mouth!

I agree with you Space...
And I'll never forget how Cosby made fun at David Peaston during his amateur win at the Apollo. Peaston was a large tall man and Cosby out of the clear blue started imitating Fat Albert. I was so annoyed at his childish antics that I felt like leaping through the TV screen and breaking my foot up in his ass. >

We're all tired of it all, people need to take responsible for their situations and actions and stop always depending on someone else to solve it for them or get them out of the situation.
