Do We Know What Evil Is?

why wud you describe the situation as such that a magic bullet is relative in some way ::confused::

I have no answers like that.  I see process, evolution, electricity answering a lot for the moment.  I don't know who made the universe and how it got here.  and I know no one else does

I also know that it is ridiculous to speak of origins, big bang and god made this and that.  it is clear that the state of this universal day..what we see of it so far anyway electricity is dominant.  we know whatever the totality of this day is we do not know out of what universal state it evolved out of...and we have no idea what this universal stage will evolve into

the safest bet to take is that the universe was always here and will always be, constantly evolving.

but relative to human society, the evolution of technology under human hand is basic as the driving force of social evolution since it came into being.  and using  technology as basic explains a lot.  we must eat to live and the methods by which we earn such a living in nature is technology..the physical means and techniqueor
so far it is...  I wud not call it magic bullet.  but if you do not go by man inventing, creating tools with stick and stone to live...where wud you end up analytically?

So it's your belief that technology is the key to humanity. I tried to show you otherwise, and you refuse to see. But that's your prerogative and I respect it. But here's an image I want to share with you, that convey's my message.

you keep taking what I say wrongly and regurgitating wrong impressions.  again technology plays a basic social role that helps us to understand society and how it functions, evolves. it helps us to understand all as a process and how parts are related or integrated and evolving including 'bad behavior or evil'. this exposes bad behavior..indeed any behavior at all as specific cause and effect relations..explainable, understandable and not evil in any sens you mean when you asked your question on evil.

I said there is no such thing as evil which is what I tried to prove.  all you can evil is not evil but preventable social behavior.  evil has to be an ideal, a source of conduct independent of human life, put there by a force outside nature, that is a choice that proves the quality of humanity.  I say no!  that is not so. I tried to demonstrate how all the evil in the world currently is a cause and effect quantity is product of exploitative social relations.  you name it..torture, war, sexual abuse and rape, paedophillia, bank robbery of all kinds, corruption, drone assassination..all of it..product of exploitative society..not of evil as a religious concept which is where you impression of evil flows from

as such evil is of social relations, a product of the quality of human social relations, is of humanity and can be changed by basic revolutionary change of the quality of social life... which is forever underpinned systematically by the quality of the way society functions at any time we are still here in existence.  if society is exploitative then humanity can and does behave fundamentally evil.  if human society revolutionizes itself and is dominated by the popular will then that in itself is not fundamentally evil but inherently democratic and systematically will not produce the generally evil behavior that exploitative society does

I have tried to back to a point of origin to demonstrate the social process and its independence of anything outside of if save it being part of universal nature, that it works like nature does, is a related process of nature, that it began out of nature and is dominated by natural law..not law imposed on society by existential fiat by a supreme being the origin of which is in severe doubt and impossible to have been of the universal nature that we know and can prove, to however small extent we have been able to muster so far.

you see just like speech was made for man and exists somewhere outside of man as ideal, full whole speech that we must learn as we are taught in school, language as a separate thing, alienated and ideal that is what evil is, a religious doctrinal construct set up by god for man to follow.

but that is not true.  the truth is speech was made by man, created in the crucible of survival to facilitate our survival, enhance our chances of going on successfully in nature, grows with mans advance, the old and useless words consigned to history with new words coming into use all the time consistent with and driven by technological advance which expansion is a function of he widening understanding of live technology brings..technology as a function of developing knowledge,scientific advance driven by human material need. and evil as the concept I disparage was also made by man as part of a much broader concept of religion..as propaganda to enslave and bind ordinary man to his exploitation and enslavement. and that changes to, streamlined as we go to improve its power over humanity,power to make humanity happy with its enslavement

I told you what technology does.  that was not my formulation by scientific consensus.  that is what technological advance does, the way it happens. there is an established way of doing things.  it gives rise to advances on the existing base. 

who achieves the advances..always a group living and working in society. one of the advances has legs,expands and grows and dominates society making that group dominant on the basis of the new technology.  the new technology goes on expanding bringing new groups and classes into life and play... new ways and styles of life into play, making new locations accessible, making war for example different,more deadly, making all associated with war more sophisticated. 

that is what new technology does..all the time..on micro and macro scales.  new technology in manufacturing brought into being a working class...blue collar..an identifiable class of people who never existed before..while it raised the manufacturers to the pinnacle of social power. displacing he feudal monarchy.  currently that very same working class is facing extinction due to even further technological advance. full  Robotizing of industry looms.  it already exists in some industries in limited ways. now the full brunt of automation is about to engulf society,leading the working class in its wake....

there it is right in front of you..a massive case of social destabilization due to technological advance.  so I am ot expressing a BELIEF IN ANY DAM THING..I AM SPEAKING WHAT HAPPENS.  AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT KEY TO ANYTHING..SAVE WHAT IS THOUGHT AT THIS TIME TO BE BASIC,ON THE AVAILABLE EVIDENCE AND THE RESULTS OF CONTINUING SOCIAL ANALYSIS..THAT TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCE PLAYS SUCH A ROLE IN SOCIAL EVOLUTION

It is simple..look its right in front....just take the car for example, or the train before it..look at the whole life at the time they became a factor in the life and see what they brought forth..all the new activity and development that were precipitated by the invention of this means of transport. just do the work yourself and when you have enough information and its clear enough in your mind ask what is the basic factor in the mix..the basic initiatory factor.

new technology changes everything..the way we work, live earn etc.  the old ways become untenable, no longer useful and all must change and adjust..and who cant die or are revolutionized..like the kings of old..even the tradesmen themselves. they are the ones who revolutionized their trades, turned them into assembly line manufacture with the new steam processes and killed their very own trades.

Tradesmen used to make coaches, buckboards,buggies, all manner of wheel/horse transportation things.  then the train and the car put an end to all of those things in time.  at a certain point they were no longer necessary and went out of existence..no longer built save for special purposes like making historical movies. whoever made carriages for a living and did not become a manufacturer had to find new work. maybe they became porters on trains or workers in car making factories. 

how easy was that adjustment to make for those people ::confused::  how easy was it ..or is it for farmers currently, and for the past several decades being displaced by agribusiness ::confused::
