In the United States, I'm pretty sure there are no "blacks only colleges". That would be illegal. There are Historically Black Colleges, which were set up before de-segregation for blacks only. Nowadays, they all accept people of all colors. Some even have more whites than blacks.

Far more common are Historically White Colleges, which are predominantly white but have, by law, been forced to also accept people of other colors.

How many? Isn't it just the Black Entertainment Channel's award? That channel - the BET - was formed because minority groups were poorly represented in popular media. Normal awards and normal entertainment were/are already "white entertainment". As mainstream entertainment becomes more enclusive, BET (owned by white people now, and arguably more racist toward blacks than normal channels) will rebrand and change. And BET doesn't forbid white actors, characters, plotlines, stories etc. That would be illegal.

Also note that there are countless Latino channels, Indian channels, Hindi channels, French channels etc etc.

Face what challenge?

  She or he knows nothing about history
Black colleges exits because white colleges has always shut theirs  doors to black students
Even today, due to lack of resources  black colleges can only offer a second rate education

let me demonstrate:  the chairman loves to post up the shooting of blacks by us state and city cops. I continually note that by the same rate white and hispanic americans are shot and killed by same police.  the real rate is 2 or them to 1 of 'mine' which is obscured by focus on the killing of blacks

what do I mean by that..why do I insist on attention to the real rate of killings?

why does any debate that grows out of police shootings in america never reflect this reality, ignore my contribution... focus as usual on racism and racist police?

why for example the police implicated in the recent killing in Baltimore are both black and white cops.... ::confused::
