This is totally inaccurate as it pertains to Hinduism.
Religious reincarnation in the form of Hindu dogma takes the view that there exists a totem pole of life forms. Human beings are the highest on the totem pole. Insects represent the creatures on the bottom end of the totem pole.
Hinduism makes the claim that human beings are continually reborn or re-incarnated (samsara) until they achieve moksha and are released to be at one with Brahma and thus ending the cycle of births and deaths. The process to get to moksha (the dharma), the soul of the human being (the atman) is dependent on the actions of its host (the karma). So for example, if one was born into a lower caste they best bet would be to do good deeds and be reborn into a higher caste like a Brahmin. If they do evil deeds they may end up on the lower end of the totem pole as an insect.
There is not one iota of scientific evidence to support the Hindu proposition.
The religious ideas of re-incarnation are therefore very different from what science has discovered about the nature of exploding stars or the chemical makeup of all living things.

don't confuse physical matter with the soul....
Science only deals with physical...cause thats what they can feel, touch or see.
they are still at sea about the soul.
Interestingly, more than half of the scientists believe in god and the concept of the soul!

I don't know anything about Hinduism. I only know something about truth in plain view.
What little about Hinduism I've read, I wouldn't never engage in.

That's what you think, but certainly isn't true, because everything is spirit and nothing can be divided from it. The only thing that can be divided from spirit is our perception of it. Once our perception of it is lost, then we'll say things like you just said.
As for instance, you say that science deals with only the physical, but we are not only physical. What's making us think, feel, and talk is not physical and cannot be touched physically, but only touched through the intellect. So from a loss of perception, we do not see ourselves beyond physical which is the whole root of all human suffering on earth. What physical science can help our behavioral circumstances and it's repercussions?

This thread and its topics are about religions and it many absurdities like the idea of re-incarnation as postulated by Googs.
You then proceed to write at length about "the scientific proof for re-incarnation" and now you assert that you do not know anything about Hinduism or care to know about it?
All you had to do was state in the first place that there is no scientific proof for the religious idea of re-incarnation.

All I had to do is say what I did.
And I don't know anything about Hinduism and what little I've read I would never engage in.
There's nothing you can say to change that.
