Will religion ever disappear ?

I will tell you guys how to make religion disappear....according to Snoopy...you must follow this carefully.

1. Take a white sheet of paper 
2. Sharpen a number 2 pencil with eraser
3. Write clearly and legibly the word "Religion"
4. Ask someone to read the wor
5. Erase the word religon...Ask them to read again.

In this exercise we see clearly, that religion has disapperead.

So the atheist has made religion disappear....

how can god as we have been taught exist?  such god(s) would have to have self-created.  from where would have come the idea of god then, to self create in some mold..whatever form shaped by the idea of god, from where ever it originated ::confused::

and even god must have form, shape size..or be capable of form shame and size.  but the gods we have been taught..the christian gods simply are..no explanation of who, what, why, when.....how they exist.  we assume that they were born god, big, experienced, all knowing, forever.  but of what are the made?  even gas and spirit have form, shape, size..or god as god can take any form shape and size?

and we have 4 states of matter..of which is god made...material which is unknown?  and ex ni hi lo god made the world  out of nothing.  so god them must have self created out of nothing..and exists as nothing? 

but where is nothing?  is there nothing anywhere?

nothing is a state that cannot be proved.  there is something everywhere we look..material of some form, energetic.  so if nothing exists, cannot exist, then there cant be god as we have been taught.  and the universe could not have been created out of nothing!  because nothing does not exist.

we know a different life...a material reality out of which everything came/comes, all explainable.  we know something of the process by which this happens..evolution.  we know birth and death the process in which all of this happens.  we can explain it to such an extent we have seen where greatly extended individual life is possible. there is work towards that.  we have seen life forms like jellyfish that apparently live forever.  maybe we can discover such secret(s) and apply them to ourselves.

by evolution it is easy to understand that if nothing comes from nothing..that something can only come from something , that nothing as a fact cannot exist then the universe was always here and its mode of existence is evolutionary. 

and again as such we now have a particular universe that has evolved from a form in the past that we do not know, perhaps will never be able to know give the truly vast amount of time involved...nor what this current formation will evolve into.  therefore to talk of beginnings,origins, adam and eve, big bang etc.  is nonsense,  is impossible for humanity to speculate on. in fact the stories of beginnings in the old darkland appear to have greater coherence with the valid science of this day that the current religions which are absolute nonsense

also with a bow to the spiritualists...there may indeed be a possibility of some form of continuation after death..as reported by credible commentators.  I don't know and dont care.  that will take care of itself..resolve itself in time for all of us.  what I am absolutely confident of is that if that turns out to be true,  the kiss mih arse religions around the world have no jurisdiction over such a passage and its content whatever it is. piss on them all, elitist constructs that they are.  it would be a product of nature, in its own ongoing process and the only qualification would be to have lived

also if there is god by the laws of nature that we already know we would have to define god within those parameters..birth as species, normal regular life form with all attendant problems like humanity faces, but overcame..did not fry themselves, matured as a species and went into the universe learning and growing into whatever the hell they may be at advanced stage.  such form would not be coming back to any such level as we are at.  and they will not interfere in our process..a natural prime directive so to speak.  there would be no point to it..saving humanity.  the lessons of survival would have to be learned to be of any value to us, in the crucible of the risk inherent in existences itself..make it and know, survive , know ones usefulness in the universe, stay and adjust lines always to survive indefinitely, stay useful  in the universe...or die off as useless

as far as I see usefulness is all.  all in the universe is fulfilling some value or use in the process of universal continuation.  forms are extruded serve purpose and pass away if purpose becomes null.  conditions evolving always change making forms useless and some still useful clearing the way for more. 

given that we are so capable we have additional options of adjustment and survival.  but we would have to accept our truth to be able to see that,  and live by that truth.  it means all the dominant bulls***..profits, big houses, wealth, racism..all that crap product of human ignorance and backwardness must go.  we now see all that crap for what they are..products of groups of humans with certain beliefs who took their time to build trans-generational social domination that threatens the very existence of the species.  we are wrong by that,out of sync with nature and on the verge of species death. 

also seeing the universe the way it is can bring human life into proper context.  we are not special in the universe at all, just of it and part of it with some options, carrying out a useful function we are not aware of yet. and when that useful function is over so are we.  and no doubt the end of that function will be marked by environment change that would render our continuation impossible and cause us to die off... or evolve into some form..probably some rat like species... that can deal with the new environmental conditions.

after all 3 toe dino who used to inhale humans by the grop after scratching down our mud hill homes is now the main course at KFC  and popeye

we have options because we can think, know... to what I would call active levels..we can do things with our brains and hands the way they have evolved.  so if we develop capability, technology,  and come to know and live as we should,  we may be able to save ourselves by becoming able to take part in..or influence... our own evolutionary process..not just up to nature alone

Humans need comfort in the face of pain and suffering, and many need to think that there’s something

more after this life, that they’re loved by an invisible being.

by direct human activity... or by natural environmental experience... all that humanity is currently can be totally erased and replaced by subsequent experience..if we survive at all.  we are creatures of experience..environmental/biological and social. period!

what despair..to know what life is?

look at what I just intimated..a future as god for ourselves.  that is the potential up here in life.  we know that already..those who can think, have done the work, put it out for people under heavy pressure from the church propagandists who do not want this to be popular knowledge..by sight, knowledge, human capability achieving such advance.

you behave as if we have a choice but to go forward relative to my way of thinking.  all in religions way is hope and faith, going forward in hope while ultimately maintaining human ignorance, stanching it intelligence, praying while we face forces that seem intractable but are not ..indeed are susceptible to human knowledge, skill and smarts

but we know already that all is in the getting to know. today we can live into our seventies, eighties and looking for much,much more..already on the way.  fifty years ago it was what 50 in the west indies and less elsewhere.  we did not achieve that  save by knowing how to organize life to make things better for us.  it was not achieved by prayer in church.  in fact church has been keeping us back for centuries. if not for church you would be living far longer than 80 years currently

go research the amount of scientists the Church killed, the sciences they shut down over the centuries.  the church has been rabid in killing all knowledge for centuries,.  the christian churches..especially the catholic one... has robbed humanity of at least 1 thousand years of real scientific progress while substituting deviant sexuality for normal sex.

that is what religion has also given us while stanching human progress...deviant sexuality, hence a market for the massive global porn sex industry that exists by putting a guilt-tripping, choke-hold on normal human sexual activity.  religion has effed up everybody up on the friggin planet..and have come back to exploit for profit the very psycho-sexual problems their doctrines have generated

if you really get to know the church/religion you support you could not deal with the knowledge.  there is absolutely no truth.. and therefore no hope.. in any church and their doctrine

the answer lies up here in the world, in truth that we prove in on-going human survival project, about the universe..truth we can uses to or own benefit in extending life to the max..for all the people.

that is the problem Meseret....getting rid of the church and the social pyramid it holds up is your real work.... our real job...for they know all I say here and far far more, but keep it all to themselves, for themselves,  for their benefit...not ours.  do you think they are going to allow you to live for 150 years when they become able to do that ::confused::

that is for them!  and for us..even less that the 70/80 we can manage now.

I knew that would happen..and so I posted with a heavy heart.  I did not want to post for that reason. the thread is dead.

but I consider what I said to be valuable..more valuable than keeping silent. I know that most here would not take it seriously but that's ok. if what I said is of value it will work its way into the the conversation deeply... and in time become the way you think for truth ultimately cannot be resisted.

if society is to survive in the first place, now, today, this very minute then ordinary people the world  over must rise up and put an end to systematic capitalism, creating an putting in pace a way of running society that is by the people and for the people.  if this does not happen over the next 5 to 10 years humanity will kill itself off in global warfare

then the question of god becomes moot. all questions become moot as humanity will be dead, the planet a roasted hulk floating in space.  it will be back to itself in a decade of billions of years or so, minus humans..as if we never existed, long forgotten in nature, absorbed by the vast stretches of time which the universe is known for...endless Time.  imagine that eh...any quantity of time envisaged by humans will one day come in the universe as a date, a point.  and it would go on into eternity after that time.

we should survive as long as we can, make of existence the best it can be. seek out the answers we can manage.  even if there is life after we die...how long will it go on.  now that we have a frame of the universe that corresponds to the existence we know the vast time as endless quantity becomes explicable, capable of being grasped intellectually....as ex ni hi lo god proved for me impossible to grasp.  but the universe as evolutionary as we are, is much easier, explicable.

the job at hand is to save the species by carrying out basic social revolution globally. there is no survival save that happens...and soon. that is the immediate purpose and reason why I joined the conversation.  I am very sorry I killed the thread.  I wont do it again.  I thought this important enough to take the risk that's why
