you can ask such a question for 2 reasons:

one...you are being sarcastic and contemptible of black people

two...you are truly nonplussed by the way history is portrayed, full of jackass philosophy that claims all manner of greatness for and about humanity.

humanity is a simple biological species the product of natural evolutionary experience that has no established permanence in existence.  there have been other hominid/human like evolutionary types before humans..all of which were evolutionary dead ends.  that seems humanity's fate as well, if we cannot find a way to go on indefinitely.

all that you cry about is well within the level and scope of human existence. yes africans were great relative to human existence and are the basis of current  humanity.  nothing is forever and what was first can be last in time..as time passes and the universe moves, producing all manner of challenges and potentials that may or may not emerge into existence.

what you must do it seems is to check out the laws of social and biological evolution to get a sense of who/what humanity really is, what we really are, and get all the jackass philosophy out of your mind and come to some realistic impression of humanity..an ordinary species that has a potential to go on relative to what is possible in the universe... and no more.

but to make use of this potential we must must first know who we are so that we can make proper use of the truth we discover and the potential in that truth to extend our life as a species..a biological species, an extrusion of nature according to what nature can do, what nature had developed to the time we evolved from whatever line of life that existed..that nature gave rise to.

we are flesh and blood, we are finite, we die.  we can forget, we can be sharp and strong, fit and fine if we discover that is valuable driven by need.  but we can forget and lose fitness and become worse where we were first.  just look at west indies cricket and see its evolution from new and worst because of that, to  first, to worse again and why.  that's how life can go. 

there in actual process, in the example of west indies cricket, is the principle that is basic to  life generally, working out in part of your actual lifetime, that can help explain what you posed above.  study it and see why and how it happened and in that you would develop a frame of analysis by which you can approach an analysis of social life as a whole

and it would be on the human scale..the real human scale and size and truthful because it is experience you yourself lived and can sus' by your own investigation of fact that happened in your life, if for any further clarification you need.  you cant lose if you do that.. you end up developing your own means of analysis of reality. 

that is absolutely what is essential for all people..to so develop their means of mental skill and analysis so they can tell the lies from the truth and so save themselves/ourselves, and keep human life and society going from the insanity the insane exploiters tells us, that has us going over a cliff right now

I like myself! I am black.  I like black people, appreciate my history, found my identity which was lost to me.

Sketchim and Googs lee make a crime out of that..as if I am sinful and awful for what for them is absolutely normal being..  liking themselves as Indian, loving and wallowing in their culture and people, history, identity.

its as if I shud have nothing of my own, that I must live the haggard, distressed life and love it, that being all I deserve. that I am and must remain the worst there is, the bottom of the ladder for all eternity..I am black and ugly after all

Professor.....SIMPLICITY IS THE THING YOU KNOW.  LIFE WORKS FROM THE COMPLEX TO THE SIMPLE NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

complexity is a function of lack of knowledge, detail the scourge of simplicity....detail because-of the make up of things...

things are made up of parts all working in unity to produce any functioning whole we see in existence, all and everything that exists, solid matter or intellectual process based on reality. we don't know and because of massive detail.  we must unravel the detail and so know what thing thing is and how it relates to everything else...
when we do that we have added to our knowledge and the more we use the thing the more facile we can become in our own functioning in life.
